Want to hire a motor boat in L’Estartit to discover the best- hidden corners on the Costa Brava? Want to enjoy a day of leisure at your own pace in the Nature Park and the Medes Islands?
We have craft of different kinds, from 4 to 8 metres long, that can be taken out with or without a certificate, equipped for your comfort and safety.
Departing from the port of L’Estartit, we sail in a northerly direction, following the cliffs and unspoilt coves of the Montgrí coast until you reach the 3 caves, halfway between L’Escala and L’Estartit. During the journey we will go through such idyllic places as the Pedrosa and Ferriol coves or the spectacular Foradada rock, where only small boats such as Núria can pass through it, as well as the three caves, where the entrance is even more exclusive that the Foradada. On the way back, we went to the Medes Islands. In summer, we stop to bathe to freshen up during the route.
You can come alone, with your partner or with friends to make the route that we have scheduled, or rent it for a few hours and Quim will make a tailor-made route. For example, what would you like to reserve the boat on a Sunday morning to go with the family to the Medes Islands or Cala Ferriol at breakfast and bathe? An excursion available to everyone!
The Nautilus boats were pioneers in showing you the seabed of the Medes Islands Nature Reserve, an area which is protected because of the richness of its ecosystem and its unique flora and fauna. The fleet has 5 boats with large submerged windows, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the Medes islands from a very privileged viewpoint.
The Corsari Negre is a schooner, hand-crafted from tropical wood in Camamu, on the banks of the Acarai River (Brazil), just like the old pirate boats. This boat, the only one in Catalonia and the Costa Brava, sailed across the whole Atlantic Ocean from Brazil to finally arrive at our shores after 70 days at sea.
You can discover the charms of the Costa Brava through our routes: visit the Cap de Creus and Port Lligat, anchor in Cala Joncols and take a paella in its restaurant, go snorkeling in a secluded cove, watch the sun come up …
All this with the best advice from our employer, who will advise you at all times about those activities you want to do and will propose a wide variety of alternative activities. See our section of Routes which best suits your needs and if you do not find it, we will help you prepare a proposal to suit you.
On this two-hour long trip we set sail along the attractive coast-line to a protected bay with crystal clear water. Our friendly and experienced monitors will equip you with a snorkel, mask, and life jacket before instructing you on the use of the equipment and helping you into the water. We’ll show you some of the best places to snorkel, and you can view some of the many different species of marine fauna to be found here through our glass-bottom section. The whole family will love our inflatable water slide, and floating sunbeds. Afterwards, relax and cool-off with our complimentary alcohol- free Sangria and fresh fruit. On the way back to port we take a cruise around the beautiful Medas Island archipelago, which forms part of the Montgrí, Medas Island and Baix Ter Natural Park. Our boat is fully equipped with a bar, bathroom facilities, lift access to the water and both shaded and sunny seating areas.
